My first love has always been writing. On this site you’ll find my personal writing, and a taste of my style. And probably some compulsive over-thinking, seeking out answers, maybe a little over-sharing.
I’ve contributed to several publications, print and online. I enjoy writing engaging articles and essays on parenting, family, my city (Albany, NY), homes, and food, but I’m always happy to explore other topics as well.

Every organization has a story. My passion lies in helping groups tell their story in creative and engaging ways, whether that’s in print, through their website, or through a social media strategy. My career has hinged on developing creative and memorable approaches to conveying the stories that matter – to donors, members, constituents, and the public.
With over 10 years of experience in the communications field, my background includes donor relations, association management and marketing for national and statewide organizations, inter-governmental advocacy campaigns, magazine copy writing and design, blogging, website content development and organization, event marketing, media relations, electronic communications, print and web layout, and supporting organizations in conveying a strong message.
